I like Chinatown, which is known for great food but also for great shopping. It's easy to find some of the most unique gifts in the city here, or just to spend hours window shopping. Union Square is a very popular shopping destination for a reason, they have a little of everything and a great park for a picnic lunch.

I love 15 Romolo in North Beach for an off-the-beaten-path cocktail. The drinks at the Alembic Bar are amazing!

Golden Gate Bakery is a must visit. They have the best egg custard tart in all of San Francisco. It is a favorite of everyone who tries it! I also like to spend the day in Japantown and visit Sophie's Crepes for green tea ice-cream crepes! Yummy!

When I want to unwind, a stroll down to the waterfront is always nice with views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. Sometimes you'll get a free concert, courtesy of the sea lions! I try to go for a massage at Fuji Shiatsu several times a year; the prices are great and the service spectacular!

Raffa Mayoral / Executive Chef

I love Mitchell's Ice Cream for a pint of dulce de leche ice cream. Note I said a pint, not a cone – it's that good! For a meal, however, my first stop would be La Espiga de Oro, they have the best carnitas anywhere in San Francisco.

Debbie Jimenez / Conference Services Manager

Golden Gate Park really is the best park in the city with biking, skating, museums and gardens to keep you busy all day. I also love "The Wax Museum" at the Wharf. It's fun for children and adults. I love that they always change their exhibits and keep up-to-date with pop culture.
